1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, enrolling in our course, or joining our community, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and members of The Bookkeeper's Table ("we," "us," "our"), operated by The Bookkeeper's Table, LLC.

2. Description of Services
The Bookkeeper's Table offers:
The Course: "Open for Business" — an 8-module online course for bookkeeping professionals
The Community: A monthly membership providing access to weekly group coaching calls, chat access to the instructor, a resource library, and a private peer community hosted on Circle
Digital Products: Templates, toolkits, and workflows available for individual purchase

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or use our services. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts & Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login information or allow others to access your account. Each enrollment or membership is for individual use only and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we believe are being shared or misused.

5. Payment & Billing
Course: Payment is due in full at the time of enrollment. Course access is granted upon successful payment.
Membership: Membership is billed monthly on your enrollment date. By enrolling, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your payment method. You may cancel at any time (see Cancellation section below).
Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment. Access to the community may be suspended if payment remains outstanding after [10] days.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

6. Refund Policy
Please see our separate Refund Policy below for full details. In summary:
Course purchases may be refunded within [14] days of enrollment if you have not completed more than [2] modules
Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun
QBO Coaching Sessions are non-refundable — reschedule up to 24 hours before via your confirmation email
Digital product purchases (toolkits, templates) are non-refundable

7. Intellectual Property
All content provided through The Bookkeeper's Table — including but not limited to course videos, workbooks, templates, toolkits, workflows, scripts, slide decks, and community resources — is the exclusive property of The Bookkeeper's Table, LLC and is protected by copyright law.
You may:
Access and use course content and resources for your own personal and professional use
Reference frameworks and concepts in your own business
You may not:
Reproduce, distribute, resell, or share course content or resources with others
Use our content to create competing products or courses
Record or redistribute coaching call sessions
Share your login credentials or community access with others
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your membership without refund and may subject you to legal action.

8. Community Standards
As a member of our Circle community, you agree to:
Treat all members and the instructor with respect
Not post spam, promotional content, or competitor links
Not share confidential information about other members outside the community
Not record or share coaching call content without written permission
Maintain the confidentiality of what is shared in the community
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards and to terminate the membership of any member who repeatedly or egregiously violates them.

9. Coaching Call Recordings
Weekly coaching calls are recorded for the benefit of members who cannot attend live. By participating in a coaching call, you consent to being recorded. Recordings are shared within the private community and are not made publicly available. You may not record, download, or redistribute call recordings.

9A. Call Schedule & Absence Policy
The weekly group coaching call is offered approximately 50 weeks per year. The Bookkeeper's Table, LLC reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the format of scheduled calls due to instructor illness, vacation, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
In the event of a planned call cancellation, members will receive a minimum of 14 days advance notice via the Circle community Announcements space and by email. In the event of an unplanned cancellation (illness or emergency), members will receive notice as soon as practicable.
When a call is cancelled, The Bookkeeper's Table will make reasonable efforts to provide a substitute resource in its place, which may include but is not limited to: a pre-recorded Q&A session, an additional resource drop, an extended async coaching window, or a rescheduled call the following week.
No refunds or credits will be issued for individual cancelled calls. The membership fee covers access to the full community, resource library, course content, and coaching calls as a bundle — not any individual call session.
Members acknowledge that the weekly call schedule may vary and agree that occasional cancellations do not constitute a material breach of these Terms.

10. Not Professional Advice
The content provided through The Bookkeeper's Table — including course materials, coaching calls, community discussions, templates, and resources — is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, tax, financial, or accounting advice.
The instructor is not a licensed CPA, attorney, or financial advisor. Always consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Our services will be uninterrupted or error-free
The results obtained from using our services will meet your expectations
Any specific business outcomes will be achieved
Individual results will vary based on your individual effort, experience, and market conditions.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Bookkeeper's Table, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 2 months preceding the claim.

13. Cancellation
Membership cancellation: You may cancel your monthly membership at any time through your Circle account settings or by emailing us at hello@bookkeeperstable.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access through the end of the paid period.
Course access: Course access is lifetime upon purchase and does not require a subscription.

14. Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for:
Violation of these Terms
Non-payment
Conduct that is harmful to other members or to The Bookkeeper's Table
Any other reason at our sole discretion
In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.

15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the community. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
