MY STORY
Hi, I'm Jessica.
I've been running my own virtual bookkeeping and advisory firm for nine years. Before that, I worked in the industry long enough to know that the skills that make you a great bookkeeper and the skills that build a profitable firm are completely different things — and nobody teaches you the second set.
So I figured it out the hard way.
I made pricing mistakes that cost me clients I should have kept. I said yes to clients I should have turned down. I let scope creep slide for too long. I built systems later than I should have. I raised my rates two years after I should have.
Every one of those was a lesson. And every lesson cost me something — time, money, or energy I didn't get back.
WHAT I BUILT
What nine years taught me.
Nine years in, my firm looks very different from where it started. I have a clear niche. A team. Systems that run without me being personally involved in every single task. Clients I genuinely enjoy working with. And rates that reflect the value I deliver.
I didn't get there by accident. I got there by figuring out — piece by piece — what it actually takes to run a profitable bookkeeping firm. Not just do the bookkeeping.

WHY I BUILT THIS
The question I kept getting.
For years, I kept having the same conversation with other bookkeepers. Smart, capable people who were great at their work and struggling with the business side. The pricing. The clients. The systems. The confidence to charge what their work was worth.
And every time I had that conversation, I thought someone should build something for this. Then I realized - I'm someone. And I should build it.
